Solera is a large mixed-use community in Renton’s Sunset neighborhood that thoughtfully blends urban density with a neighborhood-scale feel. The 11-acre master plan includes 590 mixed-income apartments, 96 townhomes, and more than 30,000 square feet of commercial space, delivering a diverse and inclusive housing solution.

Designed to balance affordable, workforce, and market-rate housing, the project required creative approaches to building form and unit mix—including larger family-oriented homes. A complex parking strategy integrates a large underground garage while screening above-grade parking within wrap-around structures to maintain a pedestrian-friendly streetscape.
