This tenant improvement project brought the renowned Din Tai Fung dining experience to University Village, creating a vibrant and modern space for guests to enjoy its signature Shanghai-style dumplings and noodles.

The open-concept design accommodates approximately 230 patrons, with a former parking garage space transformed into a full-scale commercial kitchen. A prominent viewing window invites guests to watch chefs craft the restaurant’s famous soup dumplings, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Key design elements include polished concrete floors with decorative staining, wire-brushed fir wall panels, and custom lighting fixtures, all contributing to a warm, contemporary atmosphere.

HV Engineering provided mechanical and plumbing engineering services, supporting the functionality and performance of both the kitchen and dining environments.
